Dedicated to the cause of Leg Conservation & Salvage (Amputation Prevention) and Specialized Wound Care Techniques. Focused towards the evaluation, study, awareness and treatment of Foot Problems esp. Diabetic Feet and Peripheral Vascular disorders.
He is an Honorary Consultant Surgeon practicing since 1996 & operating at: Breach Candy Hospital, BSES MG Hospital, Sir HN Hospital and other reputed hospitals in the city of Mumbai. In 2008 he shifted to the city of the Nizam's...Hyderabad and introduced the concept of Comprehensive Care for Lower Limb Problems which included management for the Diabetic Foot, Varicose veins , Non Healing & Chronic Wounds like Bedsores etc.
After operating at various major corporate Hospitals, he has started a dedicated centre for such problems at Vivekananda Hospital, Somajiguda, Hyderabad & at Bristlecone Hospitals, Barkathpura, Hyderabad.
His personal goals are :
- Leg Amputation Prevention
- Conservation of a Plantigrade Foot
- Reduction of morbidity & mortality due to leg problems like long standing ulcers, eczema etc.
- Creating awareness about such problems among colleagues and patients.
- To cure with minimal intervention and educate & guide patients on preventive techniques.
- Advancement of Wound Care techniques, Newer advances and routine management amongst patients and care givers.
